This image was taken on King Street, downtown Charleston SC during Spoleto 2016. The window exhibit was of Mr. Smith as part of the King Street-500 Block exhibit. I photographed Mr. Smith beside Jack Alterman's photo on the left. I loved the contrast of the white shirt and glasses compared to the original. A timeless photo after black and white conversion. This photograph was accepted into the ARTFIELDS 2017 show in Lake City and hung in Joe's Barbershop.
Patricia is a retired pediatric occupational therapist who lives on Seabrook Island, SC with her husband. Although always fond of taking photos, Patricia's interest in photography peeked after she moved to Seabrook Island and found herself surrounded by beautiful nature and wildlife. She took her first photos of the dolphin in 2006 and hasn't stopped since. She is self-taught but has taken several courses at the Charleston Center for Photography and has learned much from her peers. She has expanded her work to include street and travel photography.
